RCI is constructing a significant addition to the Cherryland Humane Society, expanding the facility by roughly 9,006 square feet to better support the shelter’s growing needs. The project introduces dedicated dog-intake spaces, an expanded and separated cat housing area, and a larger medical clinic designed to improve animal health, safety, and comfort. The addition also includes new office space and a flexible community room for training, education, and volunteer programming. Through thoughtful layout improvements and modern, purpose-built spaces, RCI’s work will enhance daily operations, increase capacity, and create a calmer, more welcoming environment for both animals and the people who care for them.
