ARCHITECT: Gosling Czubak Engineering

CLIENT: Grass River Natural Area

SIZE: 1,820 LF

SCHEDULE: 16 weeks

LOCATION: Bellaire, MI

Phase 2 of the Grass River Natural Area boardwalk, built by RCI, expanded and upgraded the trail system with a wider, more accessible boardwalk, new observation platforms, a bridge over Finch Creek, and an improved dock along the Grass River. Designed to enhance visitor access while protecting delicate wetland habitats, this phase modernized key sections of the trail and created smoother, safer pathways through the preserve’s lush marshes and forests. The result is a durable, thoughtfully constructed boardwalk that invites guests deeper into the natural beauty of the Grass River ecosystem.
